# App Deployment

> Deploy your applications effortlessly with Movestax

Movestax simplifies app deployment, making it easy to launch and manage applications with just a few clicks. Whether you're deploying a static site or a complex backend, our platform provides the tools and infrastructure to ensure a fast, reliable, and scalable process.

## Key Features

### Framework Support

We currently support a variety of popular frameworks, including:

* **Frontend Frameworks**: React, Next.js, Vue.js, Angular, and Svelte.
* **Backend Frameworks**: Node.js, Express.js, and PHP (Laravel only).
* **Coming Soon**: Expanded framework support for additional backend and frontend technologies, including Python and .Net.

### Deployment Logs

* **Deployment Logs**: View detailed logs for each deployment, including initial setup and subsequent redeployments.
* **Redeploy History**: Keep track of all deployment actions directly from the management dashboard.

### Auto-Deploy (Coming Soon)

Movestax will soon support automatic deployments triggered by commits to your Git repository. With auto-deploy, every push to your selected branch will automatically redeploy your application.

### App Logs (Coming Soon)

Gain insight into your application’s runtime with detailed app logs. These logs will provide real-time feedback on your app’s behavior and errors, simplifying troubleshooting.

### Auto-Scaling (Coming Soon)

Applications will automatically scale based on traffic demands, ensuring performance and reliability without manual intervention.

## How to Deploy Your App

### Step-by-Step Guide

1. **Navigate to App Deployment**:
   * Go to your **Project Dashboard**.
   * Click on **App Deployment** > **Deploy New App**.

2. **Connect GitHub**:
   * Authenticate your GitHub account (personal or organizational repositories).
   * Select the repository and branch you want to deploy.

3. **Framework Detection**:
   * Movestax automatically detects the framework used in your project for seamless configuration.

4. **Add Environment Variables**:
   * Add variables manually or paste your `.env` file into the text area for parsing.
   * Movestax will automatically populate the variables from the file.

5. **Review and Deploy**:
   * View the deployment summary page and confirm the details.
   * Click **Deploy** to initiate the process.
   * Track progress via deployment logs in real time.

## Managing Your Application

1. **Access the Management Page**:
   * Go to **Project Dashboard > App Deployment** and select the app you want to manage.

2. **View App Details**:
   * Find the app's unique URL (e.g., `deploymentid.movestax.app`).
   * Check the linked repository and deployment history.

3. **Redeploy Your App**:
   * Click **Deployments** to view the deployment history and manually redeploy as needed.

4. **Add a Custom Domain**:
   * Click **Settings** > **Add Custom Domain**.
   * Follow the instructions to configure your DNS by adding the TXT and CNAME records.
   * Click on the refresh button to validate the domain and issue the SSL certificate.
   * All custom domains come with SSL certificates for secure access.

5. **Delete Your App**:
   * Delete an app via **App Settings** or directly from the **App Deployment** menu by clicking the trash icon.
